Guess where I've been. That's right, nowhere! So far I haven't been doing any photowork due to the fact that I'm spending all of my valuable time on my study. I'm so golly-gosh darn well-behaved.
But that's all about to change. This summer I'll be joining a group of youngsters on a trip to Uganda, where we will be offering our help to a local welder. It's a local project supported by Livingstone, the organisation we travel by. This welder has set up a school for poor children and because of the popularity of his little 'Happy Times' school, he is in need of another classroom. So we're going to help him build one. Next to that, we'll also be teaching the children, playing with them, and talking to their grandparents who generally have to raise them.
And we need money to do so.
So, we're organising a crapload of events, including an Art Auction to raise money. You've already seen a flyer for a benefit danceball come by, which was a modest but good start. With this auction we hope to get a a good 1000 euros, but more is always better! We have a beautfiful collection of photo's to be auctioned, but we would also like to offer the people some paintings and drawings. If you would like to help us out and send your work to be auctioned, please send me a note. It would be very much appreciated.
Until so far.
